Why Personal Style is about more than just clothes

In this space, I’ll be sharing the style principles that guide me—not to tell you what’s “right” or “wrong,” but to help you get closer to yourself through what you wear. Principles that help me and my clients make more intentional and authentic style choices.

My hope is that they’ll encourage you to reflect on your own style rules and maybe even define a few of your own.

Because style is deeply personal.

We are all beautifully different because we are individuals. And yet, in that difference, we’re the same and we're all just figuring ourselves out.

The idea of “good” vs. “bad” style often ignores the bigger picture—your story.

No one else can fully understand the life experiences, emotions, memories and personal preferences that shape why you wear what you wear.

Whether you reach for that favourite sweater because of the mood, colour, fit, or the way it reminds you of something special—those reasons are yours alone.

Just like you may not know why I chose a bright yellow sweater today, I may not know the reasons behind your choices.

And that’s what makes our personal style so rich—it’s a reflection of who we are on the inside, translated into what we wear on the outside and when it clicks … you dress in a way that feels right, is just for you and there’s a sense of peace.

When you understand the deeper reasons behind your style decisions, it becomes easier to express yourself with confidence.

And the truth: when you feel more like yourself, you naturally look more confident and everything else become simpler. That’s the power of discovering your personal style.

Your wardrobe starts working with you, not against you.

You get dressed with ease.

You walk with more confidence.

You live with more freedom.

So, tell me …

How are you feeling in your style?

What’s working?

What’s feeling off?

I’m here for the real conversations—not perfection.

Let me know.
